About the Accommodation

Overview

The spacious accommodation is a deluxe home from home with thoughtful touches to create the perfect vacation rental. With far reaching views of the sea, mountains and the golf course, the external spaces both at the rear and front of the apartment means you'll have the sun all day long if you want it.

Bedrooms and Bed Configuration

The accommodation sleeps up to 5 [6 upon request] The 2 stylish and spacious bedrooms with 2 wide single beds per room, can be configured to create super king beds, whilst the principal bedroom is bathed in light has picturesque sea, golf and mountain views. Each room is uniquely curated with elegant touches for the boutique hotel feel.

Bathrooms

The spa like bathrooms offer rain forest showers, hygiene sprays, heated towel rails and vegan friendly toiletries. The principal bathroom amenities include: 

  • Hairdryer 
  • Hair straighteners
  • Body wash, shampoo and conditioner  [not tested on animals] 
  • Hand soap and handwash
  • Bath sheet, hand towel, flannel and make remover cloth 
  • Mini vanity pack includes cotton wipes, air buds and shoe shine
  • A face mask is also sometimes on offer depend on stock
  • 2 toilet rolls per bathroom
  • And for emergencies 1 x toothbrush and toothpaste.

Eat in Kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen includes piped filtered water, coffee and smoothie makers, to ice lolly moulds and paella pans and dishes to try your hand at Spanish cooking. The first aid kit and sewing kits can also be found int he kitchen. 

Living Area

The roomy living/dining area with log burner for the winter months, has seating and dining for 6 with views that look out to the sea.  If you wish to use the log burner the Log Burner Usage Form must be signed. The form is automatically sent for bookings taking place between October and March.

An exceptionally comfortable footstool bed and sofa bed can be found in the living area, and the foot stool bed can be moved into a bedroom if desired. 

The Terrace and External Areas

The sunny terrace which has sun the majority of the day, has 2 sun loungers and casual seating and dining areas. Additional seating to catch the late afternoon sun is located at the front of the property where you can sit and take in the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. 

Washing & Drying

You’ll find a separate washer and dryer in the utility room along with pegs, a drying rack and shopping basket if needed. Washing tablets are provided. Please do your best to wash and dry when electricity costs are lower. See the chart in the utility room.

Accommodation prices are regularly monitored and altered  according to demand. This means sometimes prices will either be  higher or even lower than the prices detailed above. 

*Please note: Prices for the school and public holidays are only marginally raised rather than hiked.

DISCOUNTS

A 5% discount is given to returning  gusts after their 3rd stay and an additional 10% discount is applied to all bookings of 14 nights or more for guests that book direct.

Neighbourhood

Los Castillos is a residential community so please be polite, respect the community and observe the rules. If you are looking for loud resort this is not the place for you!

Immediate Area


Local Area A 60 second walk brings you to Monte Courtyard with a small selection of eateries, bars, hairdressers, nail bar, Thai massage, sports bar and ATM.

The Marina


A 10 minute walks brings you to Duquesa Marina where you will find over 40 restaurants and bars for every palette. From here you can take a boat trip, charter a boat, go fishing, sailing, hire jet skis, and lots more water sports. Treat yourself to an ice cream on you way as you make you way out of Duquesa.

San Luis de Sabinillas

A further 10 minutes walk along the Manilva promenade brings you to the traditional Spanish town of San Luis de Sabinillas where you’ll find shopping, banks, beachside music and long sandy stretches of beach with sun beds for hire and cocktails to drink! In July and August you'll find free beach and Zumba lessons too! Or indulge in a massage on the beach as you listen to the waves.

Casares Costa

Continuing the walk along the promenade west, a further 10 minute walk brings you to Casares Costa, where you will see the old Fort and more places to eat, along with another Blue Flag Beach - Playa Ancha, which translated means Wide Beach!

Estepona


For the adventurous a further 45 minutes walk or 15 minute bike ride brings you edge of Estepona which will keep you occupied for the rest of the day. From the old town with its quirky stores, the extensive promenade , beachside chess and playground for the children, to the long sandy beach that stretches for several miles.

El Castillo


Back from The Marina A short walk west from the Marina brings you to a quieter beach area where you'll find fewer beach side chiringuitos, sun beds and a play area. A further stroll brings you to the quaint fishing village of El Castillo with several authentic Spanish restaurants servicing tapas and the historical Castle that has a gift shop and holds regular enactments.

Further Afield - Car Needed

Voted one of the prettiest Pueblo Blanco's -[White Villages], Casares Pueblo is a charming sleepy village with several historical areas to explore. The old fort and church are great Instagramable locations.

Heading East If you ae driving there is plenty to do and see in less than a 45 minute drive: Marbella and Puerto Banus for night life Mijas Pueblo - another pretty white pueblo with the traditional donkeys that can take you for a hill side ride, and is a great place to buy leather goods.

Sotogrande Marina

 

Heading West Sotogrande - Playground of the understated super wealthy, take a walk along the marina and take in the yachts, shop at one of the boutiques or sip a cocktail and watch people on their boats.

Transport

No Car Needed

The location of the apartment means you do not need a car. Opposite the development is a selection of eateries and bars, ATM, hairdressers, Thai massage  and nail salon. Everything for a great holiday is within a 10 minute walk. 

Local buses will get you to and from Estepona, Sotogrande and La Linea. Visit www.avanza.es for bus timetables. 

If you want to explore further afield a car is recommended.
