1.1 Information Needed. We collect personal information about you when you make a booking. Without it, we may not be able to provide all services requested. This information includes: your first and last names, phone number, address, email and preferred language.
1.2 Identity Information. We will ask you for an image of your government-issued ID. This information is shared with the Guardia Civil and is a requirement of Spanish law, for all registered short term holiday lets.
1.3 Information You Choose to Give Us. You can choose to provide us with additional personal information such as city, gender, any special requirements, disability, health matters, a personal description, contact information belonging to another person or information about a co-traveller. By providing us with personal information about others, you certify that you have permission to provide that information to us for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
1.4 Financial Institutions and Third Parties - If you elect to pay with funds from your bank account, we may receive certain information from your financial institution, such as bank account details and account balance. 1.5 Third Party Payment Platforms. We do not retain any of this information. This information is retained by the payment platform on which you paid. For example, Stripe or PayPal. 1.6 Provide, Improve, and Develop our service offering and accommodation. Any feedback or additional information you provide may be used to help improve our services and accommodation for future guests.
2. USAGE AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information we collect on you is used for the purpose of booking the accommodation at Casa Océano Duquesa.
2.1 Future Communications. Contact information such as an email address or telephone number will be retained for future communications regarding special offers at Casa Océano Duquesa.
2.2 Third Parties working on Behalf of Casa Océano Duquesa. We will share personal information with the person[s] undertaking the meet and greet, check out and any other services on our behalf for the purpose of facilitating your stay at Casa Océano Duquesa.
2.3 Linking to Third-Party Services. By booking direct we may link to third-party services. We do not own or control these third parties. Please take the time to read the Privacy Policies of these Third Parties.
3. Complainants
3.1 If a third party submits a complaint about you, we may receive information relating to the specific complaint made in order to understand and, where relevant, address the complaint.
4. YOUR RIGHTS. After your stay is complete, you have the right to request the removal of your data. Please do so via email to casaoceanoduquesa@gmail.com with the subject heading ‘Personal Data.’
